Essential Duties
  • Teach college dual enrollment courses at a high school or in an online synchronous setting.
  • Follow all college policies and procedures pertaining to the dual enrollment courses taught.
  • Meet the pedagogical expectations of the Collegeā€™s department for student learning outcomes, syllabi components, level and rigor of content, assessment and evaluation of student learning outcomes, and regular and substantive interaction with students in online settings.
  • Be evaluated in accordance with the Collegeā€™s adjunct faculty evaluation process.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Masterā€™s degree in education or academic discipline OR Bachelors degree with 18 graduate credit hours in discipline
  • Proven teaching experience at secondary or college level
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work with students and colleagues
Job Description Summary
Academic Affairs anticipates the need for part-time dual enrollment instructors. Adjunct instructors may be needed to teach courses in the following disciplines: General Business, Information Systems, Education, Mathematics, Biology, Oral Communication, and Leadership Studies.
