Job Description Summary | This position leads the efforts of the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) and the Digital Studies minor, both of which are housed in Fant Memorial Library. This position is charged with organizing high-impact student opportunities, teaching digital and information literacy courses (for-credit and course-integrated), and encouraging multiple modes of research and creative activities across campus through continued efforts to grow existing programs. The qualified candidate will also manage and administer the budget of the OUR that funds the Undergraduate Research Conference, digital scholarship projects, the independent summer research program, and faculty mentor support. As a library faculty member, this position will also serve as a public-facing library liaison to select departments in the College of Arts and Sciences, providing library support for these fields as appropriate through instruction, reference, research support, and collection development. |
