Essential Duties
  • Teach college dual enrollment courses at a high school or in an online synchronous setting.
  • Follow all college policies and procedures pertaining to the dual enrollment courses taught.
  • Meet the pedagogical expectations of the College’s department for student learning outcomes, syllabi components, level and rigor of content, assessment and evaluation of student learning outcomes, and regular and substantive interaction with students in online settings.
  • Be evaluated in accordance with the College’s adjunct faculty evaluation process.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in education or academic discipline OR Bachelors degree with 18 graduate credit hours in discipline
  • Proven teaching experience at secondary or college level
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work with students and colleagues

Job Description Summary
Academic Affairs anticipates the need for part-time dual enrollment instructors. Adjunct instructors may be needed to teach courses in the following disciplines: General Business, Information Systems, Education, Mathematics, Biology, Oral Communication, and Leadership Studies.
